Bio:Hmmm... a biography is so hard to write, even just a short one...

I was born on my father's birthday. I'm the only child of some very successful parents who have worked for everything they have. I will admit that I'm very spoiled. I've never really had to work and I've been handed everything I could ever ask for. I've never tried to take advantage of that, though... I'm very appreciative of what Mom and Dad have given me and I hope that someday I can give something back to them.

My parents were in their mid 30's when they had me and I grew up in a neighborhood without a lot of kids, so Mom & Dad's friends were my peers. I was mature as a child... I had the mentality of a 40 year old and two stomache ulcers to prove it by the the time I was 10. As a child I was an accomplished artist. I was competing against adult professionals and coming home with blue ribbons. I was also a teeny-bopper with big hair, slouch socks with "french-rolled" jeans or leggings and L.A. Gears. I thought of my older cousin Shelly as a goddess, and I wanted to be just like her.

I eventually realized that being myself was more important and that's when I started to make some really good friends. I became interested in the environment and other worldly issues. As a Girl Scout, I earned the Cadette Silver Award by holding a bowl-a-thon to benefit the local animal shelter. I earned my Gold Award (the highest honor) by building a website to teach people about environmental problems in Franklin County and what they could do to help.

I didn't attend high school very much. On April 25th, 1996 I woke up with a headache that never went away. After many doctors and lots of x-rays and needles (including 2 spinal taps), the headache was attributed to a learning disability and I was also diagnosed with ADD. I can now ignore the pain and function like a normal human. I've also learned how to deal with my learning problems better. College has been very rough and that's why I'm still a student. Now that I'm taking the time to do things at my own pace, my grades have improved significantly.

My friends are important to me as well as my family. I love all of them dearly, but if I had to choose two friends that have been the most influential, I would have to choose Adam and my ex-boyfriend, Trevor. Adam and I are like brother and sister... but neither of us can find a man together because they all think we're dating. We can bicker like an old married couple, but lately we seem to have more respect for each other and keep our banter to sarcastic teasing. He's the one friend who's always been there for me. Trevor taught me what love is and that true love is possible. He's taught me so much more than that and I will always care about him a great deal, even though our friendship is still a bit on the rocks at the moment. I still believe him to be a soul-mate; we were put here together in this lifetime for a reason. Hopefully someday, we will mend our friendship.

I think that's about all I can say.
